Maryellen Hanley nee Kindberg, age 76, late of Riverdale. Beloved wife of the late John. Loving mother of Cynthia (Bill Cairns) Hanley and Joanne (Steve) Ebner. Proud grandmother of Michelle Hanley, Stephen and John Ebner. Mrs. Hanley was a very active member of the Queen of Apostles Church Food Pantry, recipient of the Citizen of the Year award by the Knights of Columbus. She was loved by all. Visitation Friday, 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Saturday, 9:15 a.m. from Thornridge Funeral Home (Janusz Family Funeral Service), 15801 S. Cottage Grove Ave, four blocks north of 162nd (Route 6), Dolton/South Holland to St. Mary Queen of Apostles Church Mass 10 a.m. Interment Oakland Memory Lanes.
